JUTE AND RAFFIA BAGS

This SS26 season, we have created a collection of bags made from jute or raffia, where the artisanal process takes centre stage. 

Both jute and raffia are strong, biodegradable plant fibres, crafted using traditional techniques. 

Jute bags are made from different panels (patterns) produced on special machines, but they are sewn or assembled by hand. The handles are also attached manually. 

Raffia bags, on the other hand, are entirely handcrafted. The fabric is a woven structure of fibres, creating a durable and flexible construction where the threads intersect at right angles. 

All bags, whether jute or raffia, are dyed before assembly. Only natural or organic dyes are used, and colour fastness is guaranteed. All product testing is carried out according to EU standards.
